Ethiopian Restaurant and Cookbook
Issey is a conceptual Ethiopian restaurant located in Virginia. The design is a modern take on traditional Ethiopian art and design. Amharic typography is used as a motif throughout the cookbook, and the letters are also stacked to represent the restaurant's workers.
The cookbook celebrates Ethiopian culture and teaches readers about the important communal traditions that accompany eating Ethiopian food.
